Terms & Conditions

๐Ÿ“… Last updated: June 1, 2026 ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Governed by US Law โœˆ Applies to all Absolute Holidays bookings
โš ๏ธ
Please read these Terms carefully before booking. By completing a booking through AbsoluteHolidays.com or by phone, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with your booking.
01
Introduction

Welcome to AbsoluteHolidays.com ("Absolute Holidays," "we," "us," or "our"). Absolute Holidays is a US-based travel agency licensed to sell airline tickets, hotel accommodations, and travel-related products. We operate as an intermediary between travellers and airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Absolute Holidays website (absoluteholidays.com), our mobile applications, and any bookings made through our phone reservation system (toll-free: +1-800-439-4124). These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you ("Traveller" or "you") and Absolute Holidays.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Jurisdiction: Absolute Holidays operates under the laws of the United States of America, and is regulated by the US Department of Transportation (DOT) and complies with the Air Travel Consumer Report regulations and all applicable federal consumer protection laws including the Federal Trade Commission Act and the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN).
02
Important Notice

Absolute Holidays acts as a licensed travel agent and not as a principal. We facilitate bookings on your behalf with airlines, hotels, and other third-party travel suppliers. All ticketed fares are subject to the terms, conditions, and carriage rules of the respective airline or supplier.

Consolidated Fares: Many fares offered by Absolute Holidays are consolidator/wholesale fares not available on airline websites or standard booking engines. These fares carry specific rules and may be more restrictive than published fares. Always review your booking confirmation for specific fare rules before purchase.

All prices displayed on our website are in US Dollars (USD) and include applicable taxes and fees unless clearly stated otherwise. International card transactions may attract currency conversion charges from your bank โ€” Absolute Holidays is not responsible for such charges.

Flight schedules, routes, and availability are subject to change by airlines at any time. Absolute Holidays will endeavour to notify you of any significant changes affecting your booking, but cannot be held liable for schedule changes made by airlines outside our control.

03
Booking Process

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and issuance of a booking confirmation email with your PNR (Passenger Name Record) or e-ticket number. Displaying a price on our website does not constitute an offer to sell at that price.

Booking Steps

  1. Search and select your desired itinerary on AbsoluteHolidays.com or call our 24/7 reservations line.
  2. Enter accurate passenger details exactly as they appear on each traveller's government-issued photo ID or passport.
  3. Review fare rules, baggage policies, and cancellation conditions before proceeding.
  4. Complete payment. Your card will be charged at the time of booking.
  5. You will receive a booking confirmation email within 24 hours of payment. If you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours, contact us immediately.
Name Accuracy: Passenger names must exactly match the government-issued photo ID or passport used for travel. Airlines strictly enforce name-match rules. Name corrections (even minor typos) may incur airline fees or require ticket reissuance. Absolute Holidays is not responsible for costs arising from incorrect name entries by the traveller.

Itinerary Re-Confirmation

We strongly recommend that all travellers re-confirm their flight details with the airline directly at least 72 hours before departure. Schedule changes, terminal updates, and gate information should be verified with the operating airline.

04
Our Fees & Service Charges

Absolute Holidays charges a service fee on all bookings. This fee is disclosed prior to purchase and is non-refundable under all circumstances, including voluntary cancellations. The service fee covers booking processing, 24/7 customer support, and post-booking management.

05
Price Match Promise

Absolute Holidays offers a Price Match Promise on identical itineraries. If you find a lower publicly available price for the exact same flight (same airline, same routing, same fare class, same travel dates, same number of passengers) within 24 hours of booking, we will match or beat it.

Conditions for Price Match

  • The lower fare must be available and bookable at the time you contact us.
  • The fare must be for an identical itinerary (same airline, same flight numbers, same cabin class, same dates).
  • Comparison must be with a publicly available retail price โ€” not another consolidator, employee fare, or credit card portal price.
  • Price match requests must be submitted within 24 hours of your Absolute Holidays booking confirmation.
  • The price difference must exceed $10 per ticket to qualify.
To request a price match, call +1-800-439-4124 or email contact@absoluteholidays.com with a screenshot of the lower fare, including the website URL, price, and availability confirmation.
06
Cancellation & Exchange Policy

Cancellation and exchange policies are primarily governed by the airline's fare rules applicable to your ticket. Absolute Holidays acts as an intermediary and cannot override airline policies. In addition to any airline-imposed fees, Absolute Holidays charges its own service fee for processing cancellations and exchanges.

US DOT 24-Hour Cancellation Rule

Under US Department of Transportation regulations, tickets booked at least 7 days before departure may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided the booking was made directly through a US-based agency (including Absolute Holidays). This applies to all fare types including non-refundable tickets.

Voluntary Cancellations (After 24 Hours)

  • Non-refundable tickets: No cash refund. Depending on the airline, a travel credit/voucher may be issued minus cancellation fees.
  • Refundable tickets: Refunded to original form of payment less airline cancellation fees and Absolute Holidays service fees. Processing time: 7โ€“21 business days.
  • Award/miles tickets: Subject to the respective airline's mileage programme rules.

Compassion/Bereavement Exceptions

In cases of documented serious illness or death of the ticketed passenger or immediate family member, some airlines may waive change/cancellation fees. Contact Absolute Holidays immediately with supporting documentation. We will advocate on your behalf with the airline, but cannot guarantee approval.

Changes & Exchanges

Date or routing changes are subject to fare differences in addition to airline change fees and Absolute Holidays service charges. Upgrades may be available subject to availability. Name changes are generally not permitted by airlines after ticketing. In rare cases, minor corrections may be processed for a fee.

07
Refund Policy

Refunds are processed in accordance with the airline's applicable fare rules and Absolute Holidays' service policies. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to contact@absoluteholidays.com or by calling our support line.

Airline significant schedule change (>3 hrs)Full refund or free rebooking7โ€“21 business days
No-show (missed flight)No refundโ€”
Absolute Holidays service fees are non-refundable under all circumstances, including airline-initiated cancellations, schedule changes, or force majeure events. If your flight is cancelled by the airline, Absolute Holidays will refund the airline portion of the fare but our service fee is retained.
08
Fare Changes & Price Drop Assurance

Airfares are dynamic and change continuously based on demand, availability, and airline pricing strategies. Once a ticket is issued, the fare is locked in and will not increase regardless of subsequent market price increases.

If the fare for your booked itinerary decreases after ticketing, Absolute Holidays may โ€” at its sole discretion โ€” facilitate a re-ticket at the lower fare if the savings exceed our re-ticketing fee and the fare rules permit it. This is not guaranteed and is subject to airline policies, seat availability, and fare class availability.

Price Drop Assurance Terms

  • Eligible for refundable tickets or flexible fare types only.
  • Price drop must be at least $75 per person to qualify for re-ticketing consideration.
  • Re-ticketing fees plus any airline reissuance charges apply.
  • Not applicable within 14 days of departure.
09
Baggage Policy & Fees

Baggage allowances and fees are determined solely by the operating airline and are subject to change without notice. Absolute Holidays displays baggage information as a courtesy based on information provided by airlines, but we do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness.

Key Points

  • Many consolidator fares do not include checked baggage. Review your booking confirmation carefully.
  • Baggage fees on connecting flights may be charged separately per leg.
  • Oversized, overweight, and special items (sporting equipment, musical instruments, medical devices) are subject to individual airline policies and additional fees.
  • Carry-on allowances vary by airline and aircraft type. Basic Economy fares often restrict carry-on bags.
  • Passengers are responsible for verifying current baggage policies directly with the airline prior to travel.
Baggage on connecting itineraries with multiple airlines may not be checked through automatically. Confirm through-check baggage options with each airline at check-in.

Baggage on Connecting Flights

For itineraries involving two or more airlines, baggage rules of each individual carrier apply to their respective segments. Where an interline baggage agreement exists, the most restrictive rule typically applies for the entire journey.

10
Payment Acceptance Policy

Absolute Holidays accepts major credit and debit cards issued in the USA, Canada, and other countries as specified in the billing section. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Payments from AE/AP billing addresses are also accepted. All transactions are processed through PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processors with 256-bit SSL encryption.

Multiple Charge Billing: Your payment may be billed in multiple separate charges that together sum to the total booking price. This is normal and does not indicate an error. All charges combined will equal the total amount disclosed at checkout.

Payment Information Disclosure

By completing a purchase through Absolute Holidays, you consent to the disclosure of your payment information to financial institutions and third-party service providers solely for the purpose of processing your booking. Your payment data is never sold or shared for marketing purposes.

Fraud Detection & Prevention

Absolute Holidays employs fraud detection procedures to protect against unauthorised transactions. You may be contacted to verify payment validity. A temporary verification charge of USD $1 or less may be applied to your card solely for verification purposes โ€” this is not a purchase and will be removed by your financial institution, typically within 3โ€“5 business days.

If a transaction is deemed fraudulent at our sole discretion, it will be declined and you will be notified by email. You agree to notify Absolute Holidays immediately of any unauthorised use of your payment information at +1-800-439-4124. We disclaim all liability for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account or payment credentials.

Credit Card Authorisation Form: In certain cases, you may be required to provide a signed credit card authorisation form and a copy of a government-issued ID to verify your identity and authorise the charge. Failure to provide these documents when requested may result in booking cancellation.

Credit Card Declines

If your card is declined, your booking will not be confirmed. Do not assume a booking is complete until you receive a written confirmation email. A declined card does not hold the fare โ€” prices may change between your search and a successful payment. If your payment method is declined or unprocessed for any reason, Absolute Holidays will notify you within 24 hours.

Credit Card Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback for a legitimate booking is considered a breach of these Terms. If you dispute a charge without first contacting Absolute Holidays to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to cancel your booking, flag your account, and pursue recovery of the disputed amount plus any bank fees incurred. Contact us at +1-800-439-4124 before initiating any dispute with your bank.

Promo Codes & ClubMiles

Promotional codes and Absolute Holidays ClubMiles credits are applied at checkout and have no cash value. They cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated. Unused balances are forfeited upon expiry. Fraudulent use of codes may result in account termination.

11
Airline Schedule Changes & Cancellations

Airlines may change schedules, cancel flights, or alter routes at any time. These events are outside Absolute Holidays' control. We will notify you of known schedule changes affecting your booking at the email address on file.

Your Rights Under US DOT Regulations

  • Cancelled flights: You are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price (including taxes and fees) if the airline cancels your flight and you choose not to travel on an alternative flight.
  • Significant delays: If your departure is delayed 3+ hours (domestic) or 6+ hours (international) due to airline-controllable reasons, you may be entitled to compensation or rebooking under airline policies.
  • Overbooking / involuntary denied boarding: US DOT mandates cash compensation for involuntarily bumped passengers: up to $775 for delays of 1โ€“4 hours, and up to $1,550 for delays over 4 hours.

Absolute Holidays will facilitate your refund or rebooking with the airline but cannot guarantee outcomes or timelines, as these depend on the airline's operations and policies.

12

Absolute Holidays is committed to protecting your personal information. We collect only the data necessary to process your booking and provide our services. Your data is handled in accordance with applicable US privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), where applicable.

  • Personal identification (name, date of birth, passport/ID details)

  • Website usage data and cookies

  • To improve our services and website
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share data only with airlines, hotels, and other suppliers strictly necessary to fulfil your booking, and with regulatory authorities where required by law.

SMS Alerts & Newsletters

By providing your mobile number or email, you consent to receive transactional and promotional communications from Absolute Holidays. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying STOP to any SMS or clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email.

13
Visa, Passport & Entry Requirements

It is the sole responsibility of each traveller to ensure they have valid travel documents, visas, and meet all entry requirements for all countries on their itinerary, including transit/stopover countries.

Absolute Holidays does not verify or guarantee entry requirements. Passengers denied boarding or entry due to invalid, expired, or missing documents will receive no refund. You are responsible for checking all visa, passport validity, health, and vaccination requirements before booking and before travel.

Key Reminders

  • Most countries require passports valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date.
  • Transit visas may be required even for short layovers โ€” verify with each country's consulate.
  • Some airlines require entry visas before check-in, regardless of online immigration clearance.
  • Children travelling with one parent or with non-parents may require additional documentation such as notarised consent letters.
  • Entry requirements can change rapidly. Always check official government sources close to departure.
14
Unaccompanied Minors

Minors (under 18 years of age) travelling without an accompanying adult may require special handling. Rules vary significantly by airline and are governed by the US DOT unaccompanied minor regulations.

  • Most airlines require unaccompanied minor programmes for children aged 5โ€“14 travelling alone. Children under 5 are generally not permitted to travel alone.
  • Unaccompanied minor fees apply per airline and per leg โ€” these are paid directly to the airline and are not included in Absolute Holidays booking fees.
  • It is the booking party's responsibility to inform Absolute Holidays at time of booking if a passenger is an unaccompanied minor.
  • Itineraries with connections may not be permitted for unaccompanied minors on some airlines.
Failure to notify Absolute Holidays of an unaccompanied minor at time of booking may result in the airline refusing to carry the child. Absolute Holidays bears no liability for such situations.
15
Limitation of Liability

Absolute Holidays acts solely as a booking intermediary and is not the provider of any travel service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Absolute Holidays is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, cancellation, or disappointment arising from the acts or omissions of airlines, hotels, or other travel suppliers.
  • Absolute Holidays is not liable for losses arising from force majeure events including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, pandemics, government travel restrictions, or industrial action.
  • Absolute Holidays' total liability to you in respect of any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid to Absolute Holidays for that booking (excluding third-party charges).
  • Absolute Holidays is not liable for consequential, indirect, or punitive damages of any kind.
Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and travel delays. Absolute Holidays can assist with arranging travel protection โ€” ask your agent at time of booking.
16
Waivers & Indemnification

By booking with Absolute Holidays, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Absolute Holidays, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms & Conditions
  • Your violation of any law or the rights of a third party
  • Inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you at time of booking
  • Your failure to comply with travel document, visa, or health requirements

Absolute Holidays reserves the right to pursue all legal remedies available under US law for fraudulent activity, including fraudulent chargebacks, identity theft, or misuse of our platform.

Travel Protection Plan Disclaimer

Any travel protection or insurance products offered through Absolute Holidays are underwritten by independent insurance carriers. Claims, coverage questions, and policy disputes are handled directly with the insurance provider. Absolute Holidays earns a referral commission on travel insurance sales and is not the insurer.

AbsoluteHolidays.com may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over such sites and accept no responsibility for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

TSA
TSA Secure Flight Program

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Secure Flight Program was established by the US government to enhance aviation security and improve the accuracy of security watch-list matching, thereby reducing travel disruptions for legitimate passengers.

Information Required

Under 49 U.S.C. ยง 114 and related TSA regulations, airlines are required to collect and submit the following passenger information to the TSA prior to departure:

  • Full legal name โ€” exactly as it appears on your government-issued travel ID or passport
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Redress Number (if applicable โ€” assigned by DHS to travellers who have experienced screening problems)
Failure to provide accurate TSA information may result in denial of boarding. Absolute Holidays collects this information at time of booking and transmits it to the airline for TSA submission. Ensure all details match your official travel documents exactly.

Why TSA Collects This Information

The TSA collects date of birth and gender to reduce the likelihood of passengers being incorrectly matched to security watch-lists, minimising travel disruptions for innocent travellers with names similar to listed individuals.

Information Sharing

TSA may share passenger information with law enforcement agencies, intelligence agencies, and other government bodies as permitted under federal law. By booking with Absolute Holidays, you acknowledge and consent to this sharing as required by applicable regulations.

No-Fly List

If you have been issued a boarding pass, you are not on the No-Fly List. If you are denied boarding despite holding a valid boarding pass, you may seek redress through the Department of Homeland Security Traveller Redress Inquiry Program (DHS TRIP). For further information, visit tsa.gov or call TSA at 1-866-289-9673.

Name Mismatch

For smooth security screening, the name provided during booking must exactly match the name on your official government-issued travel document. Boarding passes will only be issued after the TSA verifies the passenger information provided by the airline. Minor name discrepancies (middle name omission, preferred name vs. legal name) can cause delays or denial of boarding.
